Glasgow adds one more to photonics sector

Funding of Intense Photonics creates powerful cluster of opto-electronics in western Scotland

A spinout from Glasgow University recently received $11m in funds from venture capital firm 3i and ACT venture capital in Dublin, and US fibre optic leader Corning, valuing the company at around $25 million.
